A Snap Sukkah Makeover with a Snap of Your Fingers
By Danielle Crittenden Frum
A Fig Tree & Vine Sukkot is a celebration of gratitude, and a chance to build connections to family and friends in so many ways. Now you can spend more time hanging out in your beautiful sukkah -- and less time putting it up.
FT&V has partnered with Tel Aviv textile design firm Mandala Life Art to create two stunning and simple panel kits designed to fit most sizes of online snap sukkahs (custom sizes available. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org). The panels are 100% sturdy cotton, finished on both sides (interior and exterior). They glide on and off easily, and are held in place by ties.
Our "Sand" pattern (above) features Biblical phrases in Hebrew, including "Love Thy Neighbor." Its cream and beige tones recall the 40 years the Jewish people wandered the desert after receiving the Torah from Mt. Sinai, a journey commemorated on Sukkot. Our "Water" pattern (below right) is inspired by the dappled blues of the Mediterranean along the coast of Israel: Below the patterned band is a solid ivory color. Also available in"Sand" pattern. Both designs are exclusive to Fig Tree & Vine.
The sets consist of 5 panels: three sides plus two "door" panels for the front. Compatible with any schach, or roof covering (not included). Note: The fabric is not waterproof but can withstand rain. Dry clean or wash in cold water and hang dry.
